Fault traces (Displacement discontinuities)
SAR-derived displacement discontinuities associated with fault motions
- Data format: kml
- Displacement discontinuites identified in InSAR, MAI, RSBI images
- The displacement discontinuities are shown in Fig. 2 (white line) of Kobayashi et al. (2023)
Data | File | Note |
---|---|---|
Fault traces (A) | fltrace_A.kml | - Fault traces along the southern and teh northern strands
bifurcating in the west of teh East Anatolian Fault - corresponds to main fault ruptures |
Fault traces (B) | fltrace_B.kml | - Fault traces around the southern and teh northern strands
bifurcating in the west of teh East Anatolian Fault - corresponds to clear fault motions, not main fault ruptures |
Fault traces (C) | fltrace_C.kml | - Low reliable traces due to unclear displacement boundaries - corresponding to white dotted lines in Fig. 2 of Kobayashi et al. (2023) |
Fault model
Slip distribution model
- Data format: ASCII
- The first line is a header that explaines parameters for each column
- File format (from left): Fault number, Longitude [deg], Latitude [deg], Depth [km], Length [km], Width [km], Strike [deg], Dip [deg], Rake [deg], Slip amount [m].
- The fault number correponds to that in Table 1 of Kobayashi et al. (2023).
- Longitude, latitude and depth represent the central position of fault patch
- Strike angle is measured clockwise from the north
